Use sashimi grade tuna if possible. First of all, it's yummy but also you can leave the inside really rare and red. I prepare this using a grill pan on my range top, but it would also be great on an outside grill.
2 tuna steaks (6 ounces each)
Juice of one lime
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon fresh dill (dried dill weed works too)
Nonstick cooking spray
Salt and fresh ground pepper
1. Place tuna steaks in a plastic bag. Add lime juice, honey and dill. Let sit for 10 minutes.
2. Spray grill pan with nonstick cooking spray and heat to medium high. Grill tuna 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Add salt and pepper as tuna cooks. Discard marinade.
